Frequently Asked Questions

How long does screen replacement or rescreening take?

Screen replacement is normally done in one day. A full refurbishing and painting project typically takes about 3 to 4 days. New construction is usually a matter of 1 to 2 weeks. We'll confirm the timeline when we provide your free estimate.

How much does a screen repair or rescreening cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the area, type of screen material, and condition of the structure. We provide free estimates to give you an exact price with no surprises.

What type of screen do you use?

We use high-quality 18/14 polyester screen, which is durable, provides excellent visibility, and keeps insects out. We also offer upgraded options including no-see-um screen for extra insect protection, Florida Glass for added privacy, Sunshade 40/40 for enhanced shade and heat reduction, 14/10 pet screen for increased durability against pets, and Super Screen for open views with superior strength.

Can you match my existing screen?

Yes, we do our best to match your current screen for a consistent look. However, slight differences may occur due to sun exposure and aging of existing materials.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the work area, we can complete most jobs without you being home.

Do you offer same-day or next-day service?

Yes, depending on availability. We offer fast scheduling and can often complete smaller repairs the same or next day.

What happens if it rains on the day of service?

Light rain usually won’t affect repairs, but for larger projects we may need to reschedule to ensure the best quality results.

How long will the screen last?

Most screens last between 7 to 10 years depending on weather conditions, sun exposure, and wear over time.

Can you repair just one panel or do I need a full rescreen?

We can absolutely repair individual panels. A full rescreen is only recommended if multiple areas are damaged or the screen is old and worn out.

Do you fix structural issues or only screens?

We handle both screen replacement and minor structural repairs. For major structural work, we can guide you on the best solution.

Do you offer pet-resistant screens?

Yes, we offer stronger, pet-resistant screen options that are more durable and help prevent damage from pets.

How soon can I get an estimate?

We typically respond to estimate requests within a few hours and can schedule inspections quickly.

Do I need a permit for a screen enclosure or pool cage?

Permits are not needed for screen installation, refurbishing and painting, or repairs. For new construction, requirements can vary depending on location, size, and type of enclosure. We can advise you on what applies to your project.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes. We offer a one-year warranty on labor. We use materials that have at least a 7-year manufacturer warranty.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties, including Parrish, Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, Gulf Gate, Osprey, Nokomis, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Englewood, and surrounding communities.
